WHY IT WORKS

The Challange

The Challange

Thunai is the agentic AI platform built by Entrans Technologies for enterprise contact centers and customer experience teams. Its Meeting Agent joins customer meetings, transcribes them, summarizes them, and feeds the rest of the Thunai platform with the structured context it needs to drive real-time agent assistance and automated post-interaction workflows.

When the Meeting Agent only had to work on Google Meet, the bot layer was a manageable internal project. The moment enterprise customers asked for Zoom and Microsoft Teams in the same workflow, the cost of expansion became visible. Each platform needed its own join logic, its own audio capture path, its own recording lifecycle, and its own dance with anti-bot detection. Spreading 131 engineers across that surface area while still shipping the agentic AI product was not a tradeoff Entrans wanted to make.

The Decision

The Decision

Entrans chose to standardize on MeetStream as the meeting infrastructure layer underneath Thunai. One API across Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. One webhook contract for transcripts, recordings, and per-participant audio. One vendor to lean on when a platform changes its SDK or rolls out a new join flow.

The team kept the parts of the Meeting Agent that matter to Thunai's differentiation, the post-call automation, the knowledge graph integration, the real-time assist to human agents, and let MeetStream own the surface area where commoditization was inevitable anyway.

The Result

The Result

Thunai now ships Meeting Agent capability on all three major meeting platforms with the same product surface. Enterprise procurement conversations that used to start with "do you support Teams" are over before they start. The engineering team has not grown to chase platform parity. It has stayed focused on the AI layer that customers actually buy.

"The meeting bot layer should be a vendor decision, not a roadmap item. MeetStream let us treat it that way."

Why It Works

Why It Works

  • Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams behind one API, built for enterprise multi-platform from the start.

  • Bring-your-own S3 storage and self-hosted transcription options, works inside enterprise data residency policies.

  • Bot scheduling three months in advance and Calendar integration, fits the planning cycles enterprise teams actually use.

  • Webhook contract designed for production, retries, delivery guarantees, and full lifecycle events.

"We never had to think about bot infrastructure. That is the entire point. We picked up an API and shipped a notetaker."
